Delicious food and cozy atmosphere
I had an amazing stay! The room was beautifully decorated with charming touches like a coffee machine and a decanter of liqueur. The pub's vibrant atmosphere made for a relaxing evening, and the food was nothing short of exceptional, especially the locally sourced dishes. A thoughtful surprise was the early departure hamper filled with snacks since we missed breakfast, which added a personal touch. the noise from the pub was a bit distracting late at night.

we absolutely loved staying at the duke william! the staff were so friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home. our deluxe double room was super comfy and decorated nicely. the food in the pub was amazin, especially after a long day exploring. the location is perfect for seeing both canterbury and the coast, really a great spot!
however, the noise from the pub was a bit much late at nite, and breakfast could have had more options.

Enjoyed a cozy stay in a well-appointed Deluxe Double Room with Shower, complete with a coffee machine and a powerful shower. The room’s decor felt contemporary, and the garden provided a lovely space for relaxation, leading to open fields perfect for walks.
Sleep disturbance from squeaky floorboards was a frustration, especially during quiet hours. The noise from the bar below proved to be an inconvenience at night, which may be a pet peeve for light sleepers. Wi-Fi connectivity was subpar during my stay, making it challenging for urgent online tasks. the proximity to the cellar meant bottle collection noise could intrude during early morning hours, impacting any delicate conversations.
