Noisy external air ventilation system disturbed our sleep.

we had a lovely stay at the duke. the deluxe double room was comfortable and well-appointed. the evening meal was exceptional, making me feel like i was in a masterchef kitchen. the staff even prepared a delightful hamper since we missed breakfast, which was a lovely touch!

The pub's vibrant atmosphere made for a relaxing evening, and the food was nothing short of exceptional, especially the locally sourced dishes. A thoughtful surprise was the early departure hamper filled with snacks since we missed breakfast, which added a personal touch. the noise from the pub was a bit distracting late at night.

Wi-Fi connectivity was subpar during my stay, making it challenging for urgent online tasks. the proximity to the cellar meant bottle collection noise could intrude during early morning hours, impacting any delicate conversations.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We loved the cozy bar atmosphere and the delicious food, especially the party menus. Hiking and cycling nearby were amazing. Rooms were comfy and just like the photos. Staff were friendly, and the garden was a nice touch.

We had a wonderful one-night getaway in a Deluxe Double Room with Shower. The chef’s creativity was evident in the delicious corn-fed chicken we enjoyed for lunch. Keep an eye out for the panacotta. it’s a delightful treat! Bring your own ear plugs for a peaceful night's rest.
